It's strange to think that in just a few days I'll be moving out of my parents house. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. And scared, very scared.
If only these attacks would stop everything would be perfect. I know that's too much to ask for though.

Finally!
Dorcas and I met with the landlord today that I missed earlier this week. The cost is within our combined price range and the flat is nice and big enough that we went ahead and decided to go for it. Not like I haven't seen one of the flats before. We'll be moving next week, my brother and sister are helping. I'm really glad to be moving out finally. |

Spending all day looking at flats isn't really my idea of fun. I think I've looked at more places than I care to see ever again just in this week. I did miss one landlord earlier in the week and I have another appointment with him tomorrow, but if it's like the rest of my luck has gone, it's probably too expensive.
At this rate, I'm probably better off moving in with Matthew--we made up by the way. He even brought me brownies his girlfriend made. No, moving in with Matt might not be a good idea after all. There's no telling when they'll get married and I'll be looking for a new place.

I'm really not looking forward to Becca going back to school. It will be different this year, with her there and me not. I can't so readily be there when she needs to talk or if she needs me to protect her in some way. I'll be worrying constantly because of the war as well, what if there are Death Eaters in the school?
Even now I have to protect her. She and Matthew got into another argument today when he was over for dinner. Which of course resulted in her running off and me fighting with Matthew. By the time he left, we didn't make up. In times like this I really hate fighting with my family. |
